Nexus jumped at the sudden voice, turning his head to see a tarsier looking at him. "H-Hi..." he greeted, returning to try to get loose of the vines.

"You look like you're stuck."

"Oh really? What gave you that idea?" Nexus asked with a groan, then sighed. "Sorry..."

"My name's Civine, but people call me Civi."

"Nice to meet you, Civi. I'm Nexus." Nexus reached up, attempting to get his foot free again.

"Let me help you! I love helping people if they have a problem."

"Oh, that's not necessary. I can get-" Nexus paused as he noticed the tarsier had vanished. "...Civi?"
Rustling in the leaves above him made him look up, finding her already up the tree and making her way towards the vines. "Wow, you're fast."

Civi grinned, then started tugging on the vines. "Don't worry, I'll get you out!"

"C-Civi, I don't tugging is really working, it might be best if I just-Gyah!" Nexus' foot and tail were suddenly loose, and he dropped from the tree and onto the grassy ground below. "Oof! Ow..."

"Are you okay?"

Nexus sat up, rubbing his head. "Yeah... thanks."

Civi dropped out of the tree onto her feet. "No problem! Need anything else?" She asked, brushing her bangs out of her face.

"Nope. I'm good." He shook her hand. "It was nice meeting you, Civi. Really."

Civi grinned. "Thanks! I'd better get back to my bros, see ya!"

Nexus waved, a smile creeping onto his face. "I wish I was that happy about life..." he murmured.
